Sealrust VCI® Poly Product: Tested as per ASTM B-117

Sealrust VCI® Anti-Corrosion Poly Bags of thickness 500 gauge, containing Steel Sheets of size 3″ x 4″, were tested in “Salt Spray Chamber” as per ASTM B-117. The test was carried out at “Department of Corrosion Science & Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Mumbai, India”.

Steel Samples were Observed after 1,000 Hours. No trace of corrosion product or pitting or corrosion at the edges was seen.

As per the Test Report, it was concluded that the Poly Bags with Trademark “Sealrust” were Effective in Controlling the Corrosion of steel, in “1000 hours salt spray test”.

Sealrust VCI® Poly Product: Tensile Strength Test

Sealrust VCI® Anti-Corrosion Poly Product was tested by SGS India Pvt Ltd, a NABL-accredited laboratory, for its strength.

When SGS tried testing the ‘standard 25 mm width’, the plastic film did not break. So, the lab had to reduce the width to 10 mm to complete the test !!

This shows that Sealrust VCI® has excellent strength and durability.

This independent testing gives our customers, added confidence in the quality and performance of Sealrust VCI®.
